Wonderful refuge to rest. This is where the paths from Unter- and Oberschönau as well as from the Schmalwassertalsperre and Falkenstein meet the Rennsteig. A tree and a memorial stone standing nearby remind us of the South Thuringian mountaineer Günther Jung, who fell in 2004 while descending from Nanga Parbat.
