The Hohe Möst (888 m above sea level) is above Oberschönau and not far from the Rennsteig. From the two viewing balconies, the front and rear Möstfelsen, you have wonderful panoramic views of Ober- and Unterschönau, the Haseltal,
the neighboring mountains Großer Hermannsberg, Donnershauk... some striking rock formations Kachelofen, Katzensteine, Kuhstein, sports field rocks...
in the distance the view extends to the Rhön and the Werra valley with Monte Kali etc..
Both rocks are highly recommended, especially when visibility is good.translated by
