The Land of Open Shutters consists of three villages located in the valley of the Narew River: Soce, Puchły and Trześcianka. What connects them? They are mainly inhabited by "locals", i.e. using the Podlasie dialect, Orthodox believers. Their houses are decorated with ornaments, the origin of which we associate with bieżeństwo, i.e. expulsion from the times of World War I. It's worth stopping by!
