Documented since 982. It is a complex church due to the fact that it has been modified in several periods. It consists of two naves, with a kind of cross, three apses, side chapels and bell tower, in addition to other dependencies. It is likely that the initial intention was to build a basilica plan, with three naves and a transept. Experts believe that the oldest part is the main apse, probably from the beginning of the 11th century. Shortly afterwards, the central nave, covered with a continuous barrel vault, and the side nave, with a quarter-circle vault, had to be built. The cross, the north apse and the bell tower are later, from the 12th century or the beginning of the 13th. Later a Gothic chapel and the sacristy were added. The bell tower was raised in the 17th or 18th centuries.
