Lodmoor, part of the Lorton Valley Nature Park just across the road from the beach and esplanade and so easy to explore.
It's large reedbed, open water and marsh attracts many different birds and other watery wildlife all year round. Hundreds of birds stop off in autumn and spring on migration. It has the largest common tern colony in the south-west so you’ll get great views of the chicks growing up.
