A district of the municipality of Campillo de Ranas, located to the northwest of the province of Guadalajara, El Espinar currently has barely ten and a half permanent inhabitants. This does not prevent its few buildings from offering visitors excellent samples of popular architecture, framed in what is called black architecture of the Sierra del Ocejón.
