    Hiking

    At just over 3,000 metres (9,875 ft), Sheep Mountain is a high summit on the north western edge of Yellowstone National Park.

    It can be accessed via the Sky Rim Trail from nearby Big Horn peak or via the Specimen Creek Trail, which follows the creek of the same name to beautiful Shelf Lake before joining the Sky Rim Trail.
