The former "Von-Dietel'sche-Park" in Oberliederbach was created almost simultaneously with the Palmengarten in Frankfurt. The client was the Saint Petersburg merchant Adolf Meyer. From the end of the 1860s, a park was created here, which still today reveals the hand of its creator Heinrich Siesmayer because of its finely curved floor models and the old trees - for example hemlock firs, yews, Weymouth pines, oaks, maples, lime trees, plane trees and horse chestnuts. Adele, granddaughter of Adolf Meyer, and her husband Alwin Woldemar von Dietel had a magnificent residential building built in the park in 1911/12. It is now on the edge of the green area, where numerous buildings from the last few decades also stand. The park seems quite manageable, but its charm has been preserved.
