The Basilica of the Immaculate Conception (English Minor Basilica of the Immaculate Conception) is a Roman Catholic church in Batangas City on the island of Luzon in the Philippines. The church in the Archdiocese of Lipa with the patron saint of the Immaculate Conception bears the title of a minor basilica.

A first simple church is said to have been built in 1581. It was already listed with the Patronage of the Immaculate Conception.

The church fell victim to a town fire in 1615. Jose Rodriguez began building a first stone church in 1682. The nave was soon completed. The limestone transept was completed in 1706 and the church was blessed in 1721. But as early as 1747 the church burned down again after a lightning bolt and was then repaired in 1756.

Under Pedro Cuesta, the existing church was demolished to accommodate the growing population of a larger new building, which began in 1851 on the same site. On February 2, 1857 the church was completed. The single-nave church with a short transept has a width of 14 meters and a length of over 70 meters. A dome towers over the crossing. The altar stands on a gallery in the apse, the statue of Mary on the altar is covered by a column-supported canopy. The apse calotte is painted with a fresco.

Damaged by the 1863 earthquake, the church was repaired and reinforced with walls and buttresses. At the same time, there was a monastery that was temporarily used as a school building. The church has been restored several times. The second and third floors of the side bell tower were completed in 1934. In 1936 the windows were changed and 23 chandeliers were added. The facade collapsed during the April 8, 1942 earthquake and was repaired between 1945 and 1946. On February 13, 1948, the Church received from Pope Pius XII. awarded the rank of Basilica Minor. In 1954 the facade was repainted during a restoration. The exterior has been embellished and the frescoes retouched to mark the centenary.
