Baroque collegiate church of The Church of the Lord's Transfiguration was built in the years 1676-1686 from the foundation of Bishop Stanisław Sarnowski and is the most valuable monument of the city. It has a two-tower façade (the towers were added in 1718-24) and two pairs of Baroque side chapels on both sides of the main body, erected in 1756 from the foundation of Bishop Wacław Hieronim Sierakowski.

In the rich interior, it is worth seeing the magnificent main altar, and in it - a painting with the scene of the Crucifixion. In the chapel there is a miraculous image of Our Lady of Fire - the only image of Mary with such a nickname in Poland.

The church belfry dates from 1745 and was renovated in 1902-05.
