The Cow Creek Trail climbs steadily to reach the summit of Cream Puff Peak for an exceptional panorama across the Gros Ventre Range.

Highway 189 gives access to a number of great hiking routes, including the Cow Creek Trail to Cream Puff Peak. The views along the road are excellent, particularly to the conspicuous Battle Mountain.
