On this part of the hiking trail in the Thiewinkel nature reserve there are a few wooden mushrooms, sometimes clearly visible, sometimes less so. There aren't very many. For the little ones among us - and it looks great, even for big kids. The fact that the mushrooms are right next to the beautifully situated bench is undoubtedly an extra bonus if mom and/or dad also want to enjoy the view and possibly hungry/thirsty mouths need to be filled.

Hiking

During the redevelopment work in 2020, a number of overgrown American oaks and birches were severely cut back. The American oaks were completely removed. A little further along the hiking trail, a dead oak and a few birches were removed for safety reasons. Some of the stumps were processed with a chainsaw into these mushrooms.
