Formerly important, elaborately designed raft pond on the Wilden Rodach, near the Bischofsmühle inn. From this raft pond you can reach the so-called Panoramasteig on numerous steps up to the castle ruins of Rodeck and on to Hohenzorn and Rodeck. Attention: the Panoramasteig is unsuitable for cyclists, not feasible for e-bikers. For such, a forest path also leads up the hill shortly after Bischofsmühle. Opposite the raft pond, the extremely steep hiking trail for mountain bikers (Frankenwaldsteig) branches off up to Rodachsrangen (716 m) or Dörenberg (717 m). Due to numerous branches currently (Nov. 22) hardly mobile. Better to avoid the direct line to Rodachsrangen in a left loop on a forest road.
