Built in 1871 to plans by the Liège architect Eugène Halkin, this neo-Gothic church of imposing dimensions for the locality was damaged during the 1940-45 war. However, we were able to save a statue of Saint Roch from the 17th century, a monstrance-sun which is part of the treasure of the collegiate church of Amay, 3 stained glass windows which, after restoration by the Mano Giusti workshop, have since 1999 occupied the choir of the Notre-Dame de la Neuville church in Neupré and, miraculously, the 2 bells of the church. Requisitioned by the Germans, recovered after the war and gilded, they are now installed on a low wall, in the shade of the collegiate church of Amay. However, a new future is emerging for the church with a project to reassign it to 20 housing units and the development of a cycle and pedestrian link with the bridge. Work is expected to start in 2022.
