Above-ground dimensions: height 0.95 m, width 0.56, depth 0.25, the memorial stone called ‘Frauenstein’ made of sandstone with damage all around the edge shows the clearly legible ten-line grooved inscription on the front side:

    (AN) NO 16(75) / (I)ST AN DIEM PLACE(T) / MURDERED / ODLAANDREAS BR / AUNS HAUSWIFE / WHO DEN 28 / AUGUSTO DER HAL(S) / CUT OFF / BY AN IUD / LIGT TO OBERNBEZEHE(IM)

in the register of deaths in the parish church of Niederbeisheim, to which the parish Oberbeisheim belongs, there is an entry about the death of Ottilia Braun (wife of Andreas Braun); Then she was buried on August 26, 1675 in Oberbeisheim, her tragic death met her at the blooming age of 29 on August 22, around noon, after she had been to Rengshausen and wanted to go home again, her throat was cut off in the forest near Lichtenhain '

the eastern narrow side shows a deepened stonemason's mark, s.r., at the level of the 5th line of inscription; probably the stone was put by the clan of the murdered at the place of the bloody deed (ed.)
