Sant Miquel de Mata is a Gothic church protected as a cultural asset of local interest.

Marià Ribas looks for the origin of the hermitage in a Roman village, given the remains found near it. A fragment of a tombstone and terra sigillata pottery were embedded in the wall of the temple, which makes it correspond to the 1st century AD.
