The Paller Sanctuary is a historic building in the municipality of Bagà (Berguedà) that was built between 1747 and 1748. The old sanctuary was in the Paller de Dalt farmhouse, where there are still remains of the church, already mentioned in the year 1200 and which had many devotees. It depended on the monastery of Bagà and the original church was still redone in 1687. In 1747 the construction of the current sanctuary began according to Francesc Morató's plan in the Paller de Baix area, two kilometers from the town of Bagà, in a welcoming, quiet and serenely beautiful place, near the so-called Font dels Banyadors (which is why it is also known as Santa Maria dels Banyadors), where it was customary for devotees to bathe there and to they took water considered miraculous.
From 1772 the sanctuary was decorated with altarpieces and altars that were largely destroyed in 1936, although currently the paintings that decorate the wall and the vault are being restored, as well as the magnificent baroque altarpiece that adorns the high altar. The church has a single nave in the neoclassical style with a half-point vault, while the structure and ornamentation of the main altarpiece is in the baroque style, the image of the Virgin, in the neoclassical style, stands out. which captures the esteem and devotion of the inhabitants of the Bastareny river valley. On the first Sunday of September, the gathering of Our Lady of Paller is celebrated there.Currently, there is a picnic area next to the sanctuary and the sanctuary has a restaurant.
