Going north you start from the top of Cerro de Garabitas with a very clean descent where you can enjoy a lot of speed. When you reach the stream, the climb is very gentle. If you do it in a southerly direction after crossing the bridge over the stream, you will have one of the most intense climbs in Casa de Campo. Luckily you have a fountain waiting for you at the top :D Magnificent in any sense.

I really like walking around here because, as soon as you cross the wall, the views of Madrid are brutal. You have the city skyline with the Royal Palace and the Almudena framed by the trees. It's my go-to spot to watch the sunset or to start a bike route without the crowds from the Lake. For me, it's the corner where you best feel the essence of what Casa de Campo is: a real forest attached to the city. A place with a lot of peace!
