The main purpose of its construction was to make it possible for the inhabitants of this distant district of Korczyna and Odrzykoń to fulfill religious practices, as well as a large crowd of tourists visiting this attractive tourist area, which are: the ruins of the "Kamieniec" castle, the "Prządki" rock reserve and other attractions of the Landscape Park. The church is 18 m long, 9.5 m wide and its structure resembles the Portiuncula of Assisi. It was designed by MSc. Janusz Hanus from Krosno
