Known as Yorkshires Matterhorn because of its conical shape and local prominence Roseberry Topping is a great summit. It's only 320m high but offers 360-degree views over the North York Moors, out to sea over Redcar or north across Middlesbrough.
As a runner there are several ways to summit from the short punchy climb from Newton Under Roseberry to longer loops from Great Ayton to a quick diversion off the Cleveland Way national Trail.
