We were there in July, but unfortunately were still snow fields available. Since rum I recommend rather in August or September to wandern.👍😉

Sure-footedness is required on the screeching, sometimes steep passages, but the trail is not exposed. Shortly before the wheel saddle there is a short rock passage where one's hands help better than sticks. The path is well marked (color, cairn). But I can imagine that the orientation in bad weather is not so easy. On the other hand, on the day of top weather, we made the way with many groups of all ages - from small children to seniors, everything was included (of course, people do not necessarily look at their mountain experience).
