Bike rack available to lock bike. Restrooms. Awesome 2 mile walk around the pond to see the site of Thoreau's cabin on the opposite side of the pond.

An elevated stone walkway separates the edge of the forest from the wide, shallow beach that rolls into this famous kettle lake. You can walk around the entire lakeside on a path that borders the water's edge. This is a popular spot for families and swimming and parking can be limited at popular times.
