This 15 km long trail is away from the busy areas and is therefore nice and quiet. It leads over the Hohe Brand, the highest elevation around Erlbach, along the ridge through the beautiful winter forest. There are three shelters along the way. At the last one, just before the Czech border, you can extend the route by the three kilometers of the magic forest trail or opt for the somewhat steeper descent into the valley of the Schwarzbach.
The entrance is at the free parking lot at Gopplasgrüner Höhe. A five-kilometre-long family trail also starts there.translated by
