Gronau was surrounded by a city wall, whose remains can still be seen on the north wall. At the end of Burgstraße stands the leaning tower of Gronau. It was once a watchtower. Today, the tower is half a meter off balance and therefore alone worth a visit. Note in the photo the lantern in front of the tower. The lantern is straight!

He is a former watchtower of the city wall, which is up to the present time half a meter out of the Lot.

The Leaning Tower of Gronau ;-) It belongs to the preserved remains of the former city wall and is half a meter off the Lot (the lanterns are anyway straight!)
