Berghaus Bort is 1,600 meters above sea level directly at the middle station of the Grindelwald-First gondola lift. When the weather is clear, you have a fantastic view of the Wetterhorn, the Mattenberg and the Eiger.

The Bort middle station can either be used as the starting point for your hikes or as the destination of a hike back from the Bachalpsee via Waldspitz.
You can leave the Firstbahn for your hike (coming from Grindelwald) or get in here after a strenuous hike and drive back to Grindelwald.
Furthermore, you have the opportunity to rent a scooter bike and ride down to Grindelwald.July 26, 2020
