Berghaus Bort is 1,600 meters above sea level directly at the middle station of the Grindelwald-First gondola lift. When the weather is clear, you have a fantastic view of the Wetterhorn, the Mattenberg and the Eiger.

You can use the Bort middle station either as a starting point for your hikes or as the destination of a hike back, for example from Bachalpsee via Waldspitz.
You can leave the Firstbahn here for your hike (coming from Grindelwald) or get on here after a strenuous hike and go back to Grindelwald.
