Here you can see so-called head-sharks. This type of use of an oak is very rare in Germany. Around the Hetzleser mountain there are about 1000 of these mighty trees.

At this point, next to a dozen pollard oaks, there is an information board about the trees. If you walk the circular path through the pollard oak country, you will also see pollard oaks in other places.
