Cala Forn Beach

Beach, with fine sand, located under the remains of the castle of Sant Jordi d'Alfama. It can be accessed by car and has a bar, surveillance service, showers and toilets. The entrance to the sea is not very pronounced.
Cala Forn is a fairly wide and square beach, which extends over 80 meters in length and 80 meters in width. It has a composition of fine and golden sand and the waters, whose entry is not difficult due to the low degree of slope, are often moderately choppy. Access on foot is easy, by means of an asphalt road. You can also get there by car, as it has parking.
It has numerous services: signage and first aid and rescue service, showers, portable bathrooms and refreshments and ice cream kiosk. These last two services are available only during the summer season.
Aside from the natural interest of the surroundings, which are mainly populated by pine forests, Cala Forn also enjoys another scenic and heritage attraction: it is located in the area dominated by the remains of the castle of Sant Jordi d'Alfama. It is a fort from the 17th century, which was built on top of a medieval fortification from the 12th century.
