A certain Adolph von Hohenburg and his brother Reinhard von Hohenburg, descendants of Arnold von Hohenburg an der Lahn, settle on the mountain above the Main. Adolph built Adolphsbühl Castle, Reinhard built Homburg in 1028.
Würzburg subjects were resettled to build the castle.
