The best time to visit this place is without a doubt autumn, the color of the beech leaves is spectacular. It is very close to the town of Ciñera and the path that takes us to it is completely flat, so it does not require any special footwear, just a little further from the faedo, a little skill is required to walk among the rocks to be able to visit the Foz de Villar, which can be seen in one of the following photographs.

The Ciñera Beech Forest is a charming beech forest located between the towns of Villar del Puerto (Vegacervera) and Ciñera de Gordón. This forest is part of the Alto Bernesga Biosphere Reserve and was recognized as the best forest in Spain in 2008.
