Note the bridge has been missing for a while (mid 2019) so you will currently have to walk up & down same side rather than doing a loop on both sides.

Road cycling

there are railings along the perimeter of the car park so if you wanted to cycle here and then hike along the river walk you can lock up your bike onto the railings. Allen banks River walk is beautiful and lots of fact boards and names of trees for those interested!
