The Børselva has cut a narrow valley up to 80 m deep into the mountains, the Silfar Gorge (de.wikipedia.org/wiki/B%C3%B8rselva). Pines and birches grow in the valley. Otherwise the area is very barren and treeless. Unfortunately, the view of the river is mostly blocked by trees.
