The exact construction date of the church is not known. The parish refers in a notice at the church to a first documentary mention in the year 1375. During this time the rectangular sacred building with a length of 18.31 meters × 9.40 meters was probably built.
The construction of a crypt in 1666 is also known. In 1724 the church tower received its clock.
