The Val Sanguigno west pass, also known as the Farno pass, is located at 2,320 meters above sea level and connects the town of Valgoglio with the Laghi Gemelli refuge. From the pass there is a wonderful view of Mount Zulino, Pizzo Salina, Mount Crapel, Mount Corte, Pizzo Farno and Mount Pradella.

The Passo di Val Sanguigno is actually the name of 2 different passes (east and west at an altitude of 2306m), between the Corte and Farno mountains: it is possible to reach it from the basin of the Twin Lakes or by going up the entire Val Sanguigno

Reachable both from Carona and from the Gianpace Refuge, but I recommend the path that connects with the Passo Laghi Gemelli, very scenic and more fun, to be tackled with a sure footing.
