As the path turns steeply downwards towards the Gully the path appears to split one takes you across the rib and into the Gully...avoid this!
Stick to the rib and follow the still loose yet much better path that has the rock rib pm your right hand side....you will eventually come out at the bottom of this jagged feature onto a path that contours the mountain much more gently.
