The Calcón Reservoir is also known as the Guara Dam because it is in the heart of the Natural Park of the same name. It is a relatively young reservoir, completed in 1995, although it was really projected since 1910. It is fed by the waters of the Calcón River and also the Formiga River, through a tunnel.
