The Emmelsbüller Church in its current dimensions, which correspond to the Niebüller Church, has been on the Kirchwarft in the village since 1768, making it the largest church in the Wiedingharde. It takes its name from Rimbert, the second bishop of Hamburg. There is another modern church with this name in Bremen.
