Pirchkogel

The Pirchkogel is 2828 m high. It offers a good view of the Inn Valley, the Wetterstein Mountains and far beyond depending on the weather.

In good weather, this mountain offers a sensational panoramic view. I was lucky that the distance vision was perfect. The ascent over the long ramp from the west is indeed, but you can see in the climb the Mieminger chain and the Wetterstein mountains with the Zugspitze. Towards the southeast lie the two artificial lakes of Kühtai. In the south you can see the 3007 m dominating Acherkogel in the Stubai Alps. Very worthwhile.

The last part will be a bit alpine, but the path is never exposed and easy to walk. The actual summit is a little above the summit cross.
