The Pirchkogel is 2,828 meters high. It offers a good view of the Inn Valley, the Wetterstein Mountains and, depending on the weather, far beyond.

Starting from Kühtai, it was the better option for us to go

When the weather is good, this mountain offers a sensational all-round view. I was lucky that the distant view was perfect. The ascent over the long ramp from the west is a long one, but you can already see the Mieminger chain and the Wetterstein mountains with the Zugspitze during the ascent. The two reservoirs of Kühtai are to the south-east. In the south you can see the Acherkogel in the Stubai Alps, which dominates at 3007 m. Very worthwhile.
