Arche Noah Church (Bauhaus)

The church is shaped like a boat and resembles Noah's Ark.The Bauhaus Church is the youngest church in the parish and was built in 1959-1961. Inside it is kept simple. For many years, the cross above the altar, together with colorful mosaic windows, was the only decoration of the church interior. The small, simple Bauhaus church, with its moveable seating and organ in the middle of the worship room, is a place of reflection and contemplation.

Arche Noah, that's what the Bauhaus called the church, which resembles a ship. The architecture shows that the church is still quite young, the foundation stone was laid in 1958. The building was built on a former heap, which is known as "Engelsburg" according to tradition. Inauguration was in 1962.
