The foundations of the stylish hotel-restaurant are more than 625 years old and once housed the "grain mill on the Au", which documents reported back in 1350. After 1871 it came into the possession of the von Bismarck family. Mill operations were stopped when the last mill tenant retired in 1959.
Princess Ann-Mari von Bismarck went to great lengths to design the beautiful old half-timbered house. Numerous items from the property of the Reich Chancellor were lovingly collected, which now give the house a dignified, tradition-conscious atmosphere.
Today there is a stylish setting for festivities or conferences. The premises offer space for 10 to 200 people. Smaller groups can use the Bismarck room, larger ones the Swedish room.
The Bismarck room hides a treasure: a portrait of the great statesman that Lenbach made in the nineties of the last century. The guests find peace in lovingly furnished hotel rooms with a view of the Mühlenteich and the Sachsenwald. The comfortable rooms have a telephone, bathroom and toilet.
