The Drägerweg has been a cycle / hiking path between Lübeck and Rothenhusen that has been in production since 2007. The path runs almost parallel to the Wakenitz, but has little contact with the river in the southern part. The distance between the Moltke bridge in Lübeck and Rothenhusen on Lake Ratzeburg is around 18 km. The waterway, used by Wakenitz shipping, is about 14 km long.

The name refers to the former Lübeck manufacturer Heinrich Dräger, whose foundation contributed organizationally and financially. Additional funding was provided from the A 20 motorway project.

Mountain biking

Radwanderweg in which between asphalt and single trail without technical difficulties finds everything. Certainly not MTB-specific, but you can do it properly.
