Very important to go up: since we are going to enter the national park, we must ask for permission! It must be requested by email to pn.alcornocales.cma@juntadeandalucia.es, indicating the date when we want to upload, number of people, name, address and ID. The permit must be printed. The 11th Air Surveillance Squadron (EVA) is located on the Pico del Montero, which is why we cannot climb to the top, because a fence prevents us from passing. The huge ball that we see at the top is an impressive aerial radar.
