Located between Ruhpolding and Reit im Winkel in the middle of the mountains. From Urschlau, comfortable forest trails and forest stairs with gradients that can cope with almost any age, with a little arm strength even with a pram, for mountain bikers with a motor effortlessly, but without a motor, some leg strength and endurance are required. You will be rewarded with a beautiful extensive high valley with two managed alpine pastures, the Kaiserschmarrn (without raisins) was worth every effort. The mountains around you make you forget that you are only in the Chiemgau mountains.

And if you are on a mountain bike, you drive from Ruhpolding via the Unternberg valley station to Urschlau and up to Röthelmoos, roll down to the Weitsee nature reserve and cycle back to Ruhpolding on forest trails.

Comfortable tour also suitable for children or "to run in" at the beginning of the hiking holiday😉 Along the water, wonderfully quiet nature, rare plants to be discovered and then as a reward to snack in one of the two alpine huts "Langerbauernalm" or "Dandl Alm".

The best place in nature for families. The areas are spacious. The alpine pastures are great and the food delicious.

The tour there is easy to manage and when the Bildungswerk waits for the stations, it is educational and fun at the same time.
