Near Amer there is one of the most characteristic passages of the Via Verde, a cycle path created where the old train that connected Girona to Olot passed. This stretch is totally immersed in a splendid forest.

A beautiful part of the Ruta del Carrilet. Stunning gravel section between the rocks, over bridges and through tunnels. All you can wish for on a gravel adventure.

Carrilet route. Old track where the coal train used to go between the towns of Olot and Girona. It is a "gravel" track that passes through all the towns that connect the county capitals.
