Some monuments honoring Soviet or Russian citizens or deeds abroad are colloquially called Russian monuments. Erected by the Russians in 1945 to commemorate their fallen soldiers in the station park. The following slogan is engraved in Russian and Cyrillic script under a large concrete Soviet star:"Eternal memory to the heroes who fell for the honor and independence of our Fatherland." J.
