Cala Rossa and its rocky beach with crystal clear water. The hottest water in the bay is in August (26 ℃) and the coldest in February (14 ℃). The etymology of the name of the bay takes us to 241 BC, in which year the battle between the Romans and the Carthaginians took place in the Aegadian Islands. According to the legend, the blood of the fallen soldiers turned the waters of the bay and the coastal rocks red.
