Church of The Holy Spirit The construction of the church in Czarnów dates back to the beginning of the 17th century. In 1601, an oriented temple was erected in the center of the village, built on an elongated rectangular plan. It was built of field stones covered with lime mortar. The roof of the temple from the side of the nave was gable and covered with tiles. At the end of the 18th century, the church was renovated and plastered, but it did not lose its original shape and construction. The dates of the construction and renovation of the temple are evidenced by the dates 1601 and 1750, which can still be seen on the southern facade of the monument, where the entrance used to be. Currently, it is walled up. Further changes in the temple were made in 1696, when a wooden tower was added to the church, which was changed several dozen years later into a brick tower. This tower exists until the present day. It is a tower consisting of five storeys with a square cross-section, topped with a lantern with a baroque cupola. The tower is currently the only accessible entrance to the temple. Inside the temple, it is worth paying attention to: a wooden, beamed ceiling, an altar and a pulpit from the 18th century and pews from the 19th century.
The church was built in 1601. During the Thirty Years' War it burned down almost completely. Only the perimeter walls remained. It was rebuilt in 1647. In 1696 a wooden tower was added, and 50 years later it was rebuilt into a brick one - which still exists today.
