The Barco or Galín Gómez lagoon is located in a huge glacial valley framed by the impressive La Covacha mountain range. With its 1790 meters high, it was dammed to store a greater amount of water. However, due to the lack of rain in recent years, the water level in this lagoon is currently quite low.
