    Hiking

    The settlement of Clynnog-Fawr was once a busy stopping place for medieval pilgrims on their journey to Bardsey Island. Over time, the original church here became a pilgrim destination in its own right.

    The church you see today is younger, dating back to the 15th and 16th centuries. It's imposing and impressive in quite a small village. There's a 10th-century sundial in the churchyard.
