Posted in Byzantine Salento collection komoot.it/collection/1811756/-salento-bizantino - Although everywhere in the surroundings and within Supersano this jewel is referenced, every indication that should facilitate the search for the site is misleading. The totems placed for this purpose in front of the Supersano cemetery, despite telling the story of this crypt, remain inexplicably vague in defining the exact location. Even the qr-code that should provide more details leads to a link whose site is non-existent. In any case, the crypt is inside the cemetery flanked on the left side of the church present there (a small map drawn to facilitate the search would have been enough. Unfortunately the crypt has now been closed due to the risk of collapse for about 8 years with no news regarding upcoming openings .
