The Vallio river originates near Pero and crosses San Biagio di Callalta, the town of the same name, Meolo and Ca' Tron, where it marks the border between the provinces of Venice and that of Treviso. Having reached the Marggia area, it passes the Main Collector via a canal bridge and, immediately afterwards, flows into the Fossetta Canal. In reality it is continued by the Vela canal which, crossing the Taglio del Sile passing under a canal bridge, takes on the names of Nuovo canal and Taglietto canal and flows into the Silone canal heading towards the lagoon.
